US actor Billy Miller has died aged 43, his agent has confirmed.

The soap star and three-time Daytime Emmy winner, best known for his roles on The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, was just two days away from turning 44.

The agent told The Post, ”The actor was struggling with manic depression when he died”.

The news was first reported on September 16 by soap opera journalist Michael Fairman, who said the actor had died the day earlier on September 15.

It was noted by Variety that Miller suffered from tarsal condition — a rare condition that affected his ankles — during childhood.

Miller played Richie Novak on All My Children between 2007 and 2008.

His role as Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless lasted from 2008 to 2014.

Miller went on to perform in General Hospital, Suits, Ray Donovan, Justified and CSI: NY.

His most recent credit is from the Apple TV+ series Truth Be Told.
