‘I never imagined I could sell my products in the UK.’

Denise Billsborough started her business Little Archer & Co in 2017 while she was pregnant and searching for baby-related items.

She found herself overwhelmed by the sheer number of options and the vast amount of information available, making it difficult to make a choice.Determined to create a trustworthy resource for parents, Denise founded her business, offering only items she would use and love as a mother.

When launching her brand, she initially found the options for warehousing and fulfillment overwhelming.

But Amazon made the process easy and more cost-effective than the alternatives she considered.

Selling on Amazon also enabled Denise to expand into international markets, including the UK.

“For example, I never imagined I could sell my products in the UK. Amazon takes care of the picking, packing and shipping services on my behalf.

“Without these services, I would need to hire additional staff to manage inventory and shipping, which simply wouldn’t be feasible for a small business like mine.”

The same can be said for Nakie founder Dean Leibbrandt and his brother who started their brand five years ago, inspired by their shared love for the outdoors.

During a scuba diving trip, they were struck by the amount of plastic waste in the water.

Combining their passion for the environment and the outdoors, they launched Nakie’s first product, a hammock made entirely from recyclable materials.

Since then the business has expanded to offer a range of eco-conscious products, including beach towels and picnic blankets.

Nakie has been selling on Amazon for three years, a decision Dean describes as the best they’ve ever made for the business.

“Using Amazon’s Fulfilment Service has been essential for growing our business, allowing us to focus on expansion instead of being weighed down by logistics and operations.

“Amazon handles our customer service, picking, packaging and stock management.”Amazon has become Nakie’s fastest-growing sales channel, recently expanding to the UK and US sites.

The one-day delivery option has been particularly beneficial for Nakie, ensuring customers can rely on timely delivery for last-minute gifts and camping trips.

Now Dean simply directs customers to Amazon with confidence that their products will arrive on time.

More than 14,000 Australian businesses of all sizes sell in Amazon’s stores, many of which use Fulfilment by Amazon to reach millions of Amazon Prime members worldwide.
