Rita Ora has stepped out in one of her most extreme red carpet looks to date.

The British singer, 33, attended The Fashion Awards in London with her husband, New Zealand director Taika Waititi, where she showed off a prosthetic chrome spine.

In a look that will immediately trigger sufferers of Trypophobia (fear of clusters of holes/bumps), Ora’s Godzilla-like accessory featured an agglomerate of spikes that appeared to be growing from beneath the skin of her back.

Taking to Instagram with photos of her look, which included a budget-friendly Primark dress, Ora thanked her team of stylists who “made this possible”.

Ora’s fans flooded the comments section of the post, praising the pop star for spawning “a new trend.”

“A fashion icon!” one wrote. “I AM OBSESSED,” another said.

“This is such a cool look omg,” a third wrote.

A fourth chimed in, “I’m scared but also in love.”
