stars Brad Jones and Clare Hockings appear to be settling well into life as new parents.

Clare shared an update on Instagram for her partner’s birthday, calling him “the glue that holds our little family together”.

It’s her first post since the couple announced the birth of their son, Roy, on December 8.

Brad and Clare met and fell in love on the 2023 season of the popular Channel 7 show, announcing their pregnancy in July.

Among the photos Clare shared was a picture that one fan said “screams Aussie dad”, showing the farmer holding up a beer beside his son at the hospital.

Another showed Brad holding his newborn son in a carrier and leaving the hospital.

The new parents were also seen back home from the hospital, with Brad holding and gazing down at his son while Clare smiled at the cameras.

“Happy birthday to the glue that holds our little family together and keeps us laughing along the way @farmerbradau,” the caption read.

“The last 12 months for us have been equivalent to about five years for most couples, but we’ve survived and are still smiling (although a bit sleep deprived.)

“Roy is so lucky to have such a top dad. Happy birthday, we love you very much ❤️.”

Among the commenters was fellow FWAW contestant Sophie Holcombe who said, “You two should be so proud of yourselves, it has been a huge year! Lots of love to you both and HB Brad”.

“Second pic screams ‘Aussie dad’,” a fan said.

“When you know you know, congrats on the beautiful family you’re creating, happy birthday Brad!” another user said.

Brad and Clare announced the birth of Roy on December 8 with Brad sharing a sweet photo of the new family.

“We didn’t think it would happen as quick as it did,” Brad told New Idea at the time, with the pair admitting it had been a “crazy” time.

The couple decided to wait to discover the baby’s gender “the old-fashioned way”.

They previously told 7NEWS.com.au they were on the same page with being “ready to settle down and start a family and get married”.

“We’re exploring what the future looks like for us,” Brad said in May.
