You had a great first date and he said he will call you — but a week goes by and you still haven’t heard from him.

Let’s face it, he’s just not that into you.

Aussie relationship expert Louanne Ward has lifted the lid on the top seven body language signs the man or woman you’re crushing on isn’t keen on you.

“When someone is not interested in you, their body language can speak volumes,” she said in her Instagram post.

Here, the dating coach spilled on the tell-tale signs she decoded.

“Remember, while these body language cues may indicate disinterest, it’s essential to consider them in conjunction with verbal communication and the overall context,” she said.

“If you observe several of these signs, it might be time to gracefully move on and find someone who truly appreciates your company.”

During your date, if you notice their arms are crossed, Louanne said the person could be defensive or closed.

“Crossed arms create a barrier, suggesting a defensive and closed-off attitude,” she explained.

If they are leaning away from you, she said it sends a signal that they aren’t overly interested in you.

“If they consistently lean away from you, it signifies a desire to create physical distance and disengage,” she said.

If your date avoids your gaze, it could be an indicator they are not on the same page as you.

“Avoiding eye contact or constantly looking away indicates a lack of interest or discomfort,” Louanne explained.

Another sign your date may not have the same feelings for you is a lack of engagement.

“They may display disinterest by not actively participating in the conversation, offering short or monosyllabic responses, or seeming distracted,” she said.

Men love physical touch — but if you notice they are not going in for a hug or playfully touching your hand or leg, then he’s just not that into you.

“Physical touch is often a sign of connection,” Louanne said.

“If they avoid any form of touch or maintain a noticeable physical distance, it could indicate a lack of interest.”

Having a connection with someone is a two-way street — but if there’s no reciprocity, it could suggest he or she are not interested in taking things further with you.

“When we’re interested, we tend to mirror the body language of the other person subconsciously,” she explained.

“If they aren’t mirroring your movements or expressions, it suggests a lack of emotional connection.”

Finally, Louanne said if they are constantly distracted, he or she may potentially be emotionally unavailable or feeling distant from you at this point.

“Constantly checking their phone, looking around the room, or seeming preoccupied with other things can indicate disinterest in the current interaction,” she said.
